 Associated Electro-Mechanics is a one-stop industrial sales and service center servicing MA, CT, VT, NH, ME, RI, PA, NJ and eastern NY market areas.
Situated on 3.6 acres in Springfield, MA, Associated Electro-Mechanics serves the entire northeast region with a variety of industrial repair and rebuilding services. Their service shop is comprised of 84,000 square feet, including a 10,000 square foot high bay building serviced by a 35-ton overhead crane.
AEM was founded by the late Normand Lebeau and Frank Smelewicz in 1976. Since 2009, Owner/CEO Elayne Lebeau has continued to expand their services and product offerings to provide the largest, most diversified one-stop industrial service center in New England. AEM's President/COO, Roland Lebeau, has been supported by sales engineering staff and several multifaceted field service crews and a staff of electrical and mechanical engineers to compliment the departmentalized staff operations. AEM offers complete AC and DC electric motor repair and rewinding services. If you have a fractional HP motor or a 5000 HP motor, in addition to full electrical repairs including rewinding, AEM can also perform all mechanical repairs including metal spray, welding, sleeve bearing rebabbitting, replacement shaft and componenet machining, and 300 ton hydraulic press for shaft replacement.
AEM's factory-trained field service personnel offer on-site service, troubleshooting, installation and startup for most manufactures of AC variable frequency drives, DC drives and starters. AEM is a distributor for Safetronics, Eurotherm, ABB, Benshaw, Yaskawa, Magnetek, Reliance, TECO, Emerson, Motortronics, Siemens and Furnas.
